Mexicanoness

So my cousin Omar, who lives in Mexico, has been two for two on introducing me to some awesome Mexican groups. So, I am recommending them to anyone who trusts my judgment. The first is Austin TV, a post-rock band out of D.F. For fans of Explosions in the Sky, El Ten Eleven, and Mogwai. Pretty good I think. The second is called La Baron. The best description I can give them is Mexican Nada Surf/Notwist. Pretty good. The albums I have of each are Austin Tv - Fontana Bella (2007) and Le Baron - S/T EP (2007). Check it out!
